South Okanagan General Hospital has just received $4,000 thanks to the local chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada.

Dave Hanley, the club’s Swap Meet chairperson, presented the money to the South Okanagan-Similkameen Medical Foundation on Wednesday. The money, raised at last year’s Swap Meet in Oliver, will be used to purchase medical equipment.

During the past two years the South Okanagan chapter donated $7,500 to Penticton Regional Hospital.

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s swap meet in April has been postponed.
