Sit back and let the evening go with Zach Kleisinger, who will be performing a one-off concert at the Firehall Brewery on June 6.

The Vancouver musician will be stopping into Oliver on his way to the Tiny Lights Festival in Ymir, B.C.

Kleisinger is ready to drop a new single You Should Hold Me.

“This song’s about the feeling of uncertainty at the beginning of a relationship, and also the excitement as well,” he said.

Now in his early 20s, Kleisinger was finally able to blossom as a musician after moving to the Lower Mainland four years ago from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

“Moose Jaw is a very small city compared to Vancouver,” he said, adding that it’s a much less competitive environment for artists. “With only really one or two venues there wasn’t really a scene for me there.”

During his live show, he enjoys chatting with the crowd and tries to be funny.

“Expect the show to be quite laid back and calming,” he says. “A stress-free, easy listening night.

Doors are at 7 p.m., show starts at 7:30. Tickets are  $10 ($8 in advance).
