Shendah Benoit saying goodbye

Shendah Benoit, shown here, is leaving her position as district principal of student support services. She is being replaced by Heather Rose.

A new district principal of student support services has been appointed by School District No. 53.

Heather Rose takes over the position from Shendah Benoit who is moving to Prince George.

Rose comes to the region from School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha). She is currently principal at Trout Creek Elementary School, and was previously the principal at Kaleden Elementary School.

Rose holds a Master of Education degree in administration and leadership as well as certificates in transformative educational leadership and violent threat assessment level 3.
