A man, presumably angry, demonstrated aggression in the middle of traffic yesterday.

It happened at 2:30 p.m. in Penticton near the 400 block of Winnipeg Street.

The man, while driving in a Ford F150 Extended Cab, got in front of a car while traffic was stopped.

“The driver got out of his truck and approached the victim’s car. This resulted in the person yelling, and kicking the victim’s car door,” according to the RCMP.

After that, the truck driver began returning to his vehicle. The car driver, who was just yelled at and had his car door kicked, began to approach the truck driver. The truck driver then punched the car driver in the face and drove away.

Police showed up and found the car driver sitting on the curb with injuries to his face.

The truck driver is described as a six-foot-tall white man with short black hair. He was wearing glasses, a blue shirt, jeans and a lanyard.

Anybody who might have witnessed the commotion is being asked to call the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300. Quote file 2019-4281.
