The Oliver Curling Club couldn’t be more proud of a local youth heading to the BC Under 18 Curling Championships in Parksville this spring.
Tyler Antunes will be skip of an Okanagan team competing in the provincial championships on March 17-22. He will be joined by team members Jacob Martin and Rhett St. John from Summerland, Zack Kuechle from Penticton and Eric Waller from Kelowna. The team is coached by Glen Brenna and Art Lappallainen from the Summerland Curling Club.
The team recently won the regional playdowns to earn a spot in the championships.
