Oliver Heights has reached another milestone by selling out all 17 lots in phase one.
Sales and Marketing Director Leahann Nordin said they are now launching phase two, consisting of 23 lots.
The 21-acre property on Princess Place will be developed in five phases, with a five- to seven-year buildout, she noted.
“The cool thing about the (bench) property is that all of the lots are view lots,” she pointed out, adding it’s vital for potential buyers to see the location and its “stunning” views.
Nordin said Oliver Heights is merely selling the lots to buyers who then choose what type of home to build.
“There is a design scheme that buyers need to follow in terms of finishing and design style,” she said.
Nordin said phase one and two are targeted for single-family homes, but there will be an opportunity for townhomes and duplexes in future phases. She added they are partnering with home builders to offer recommendations to buyers, and a show home is planned for spring of 2019.
Nordin said there is a demand for rental units, so buyers might look at building a home with suites to rent out.
She said they hope to have all fully serviced lots in phase one turned over to buyers in late November. The road will also be paved at that time.
“Before long we will have new residents living in the Oliver Heights community.”
Nordin said phase two lots are starting at $129,000. The average size lot is approximately 40 feet wide by 100 feet (12 metres by 30 metres).
