Chronicle suspends print edition

The Times-Chronicle will publish every Wednesday combining news from Oliver and Osoyoos.

If you haven’t yet noticed the full-page ad in today’s paper, the Oliver Chronicle has suspended its print edition until further notice.

No, it’s not a late April Fool’s joke. it’s for real.

Drastic times call for drastic measures, as many businesses can attest. This pandemic has landed a hard uppercut, which will take some time to recover from.

“I never thought I’d see the day,” said Chronicle editor Lyonel Doherty, referring to a virus basically shutting down the whole country. “But don’t despair; we will get through this.”
