Rob Zandee has more than one big seat to fill for School District No. 53.

On Wednesday Zandee was elected new school board chair, taking over for Marieze Tarr, who was elected vice-chair.

Zandee is also the district’s representative of the BC Public School Employers’ Association and the Okanagan Labour Relations Council.

“It’s a great honour. I hope to do you proud,” Zandee told the board.

Trustee Debbie Marten is the district representative of the BC School Trustees’ Association.
