The Town of Oliver is once again looking for a new chief administrative officer after saying goodbye to former CAO Heidi Frank.
Corporate Officer Diane Vaykovich told the Chronicle on Tuesday that Frank was no longer employed with the Town.
“We wish to thank Heidi for the work she completed in the last year and sincerely wish her well in her future endeavors,” Vaykovich said.
Chief Financial Officer David Svetlichny has been assigned the interim role of acting chief administrative officer while the Town undertakes a process to recruit a new CAO.
Frank began working for the Town in August of 2014 after council completed an extensive search and interview process.
In 2014 the town incurred $18,560 in CAO recruitment costs.
The Chronicle asked administration whether Frank resigned or was let go, but no clear answer was given.
Svetlichny said he was limited to what information he could release about Frank, noting it’s a personnel matter.
Frank was not at Monday’s council meeting.
