In response to your Sound Off column, I don’t think that the rock bluff has been causing the accidents and neither have the sharp curves or the double lines. It’s the nuts behind the wheel that are the problem. That area is well defined with flashing lights and signs. Anybody that passes on a double line around a curve is beyond help. That rock bluff is a landmark and should be admired. Highway signs need to be adhered to, especially speed limits. Emergency room doctors have been a problem here continuously. There needs to be emergency room doctors hired and paid a proper wage. We can’t expect our current doctors who have their own practices to give up work and family time and not get compensated properly.
