A freezer full of SOUR GRAPES to the thief who removed three flats of eggs from my friend’s outside fridge and emptied their outside freezer on Road 1 east last Wednesday. For your information, the food bank is open on Wednesday.

– Angry

A ton of SOUR GRAPES to the jerks who are drilling holes in gas tanks to steal fuel. What, siphoning is too much work these days? Getting lazy in your criminal deeds?

– Reader

Many SWEET CHERRIES to the Oliver RCMP for getting a couple of low-life criminals off the street recently. Just imagine if our police officers were given more resources, they’d really be taking out the trash.

– Citizen

A bowl of SWEET CHERRIES to Town council members for pouring hours into the budget to come up with something progressive yet fair to the taxpayer. We may have to brace ourselves, though, because of new policing costs.

– Reader

A classroom full of SWEET CHERRIES to Darlene and Lindsay Abbie who have dedicated their lives to teaching our students at Southern Okanagan Secondary School. Thank you so much!

– The Chronicle

A room full of SOUR GRAPES to Coast Hotels for trying to compromise on the timber design of the new hotel entrance in Oliver.
