Mother Goose is calling

Contributed
Working Families who are looking to engage in a fun, early literacy program with their children are welcome to attend the free Evening with Mother Goose Program. Come and experience a relaxed, playful environment filled with songs, stories and rhymes to learn and enjoy with your children.
The program is offered at the Oliver Recreation Centre beginning January 24th from 6:00-7:00 pm and a free healthy snack is provided. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and children aged 0 - 6 years old meet in Room 1 every Tuesday evening for 8 weeks.
Every child that comes is able to choose a book to keep and parents receive a booklet of the songs, stories and rhymes learned throughout the 8 week program. Resources are readily available to take home with information ranging from potty-training to behaviour and nutrition.
This is an excellent opportunity for families to connect in a fun, safe environment thanks to the funding received from SuccessBy6/Communities for Kids, Literacy Now and in partnership with the Desert Sun Counselling and Resource Centre.
If you are interested in attending our Mother Goose program on January 24th, please don’t hesitate to drop in or phone 250-485-4024 for more information, we would love to see you there.
