Created with females in mind, the Women of Oliver for Women, also known as WOW, are hosting their 25th annual Mainly for Women Trade Show.
The show features businesses owned and operated by women and men. The variety of vendors will include home care products, health care, skin care, baking, chocolates, salad dressings, insurance, investors, art, jewelry, quilting, wood working, and more – and all products are for sale.
Visitors will also have a chance to win door prizes, or sample the goodies provided by Parties and Pies.
Admission is free, but a donation is much appreciated to help WOW support local charitable needs, including a SOSS bursary and an Education Award to a woman/mother going back to school to learn a skill in order help support her family.
WOW also donates money to the Food Bank, adult women in need, the Sun Fun program, the Air Cadets, Highway to Healing, Desert Sun Counseling. The ladies also provide services such as McKinney Place entrance gardens and serving teas at the Oliver Senior Centre.
The Trade Show will be held at the Oliver Community Centre on Saturday, February 17th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
